More than 5 billion rubles will be allocated for the construction and reconstruction of medical facilities in the Stavropol Territory in 2026. These figures were announced by the head of the region, Vladimir Vladimirov, in his Telegram on Friday, October 31.

According to him, the authorities expect to start major repairs in eight medical institutions and buy 14 prefabricated modular structures for the organization of medical clinics in remote areas.

The main part of the funds is planned to be spent on the construction of a new regional clinical oncology center. The start date of construction has not yet been announced, writes IA StavropolMedia.

Other medical expenses are also provided. This is, in particular, 1 billion rubles, which will be allocated for medicines for privileged categories of citizens and 600 million rubles for a salary increase for doctors.
