An updated line of Lebedev pistols was presented in Moscow.
On October 31, a new model of Lebedev pistols was introduced in Moscow, characterized by high shot quality and ease of handling.
One of the key characteristics of Lebedev pistols is the high quality of the shot, which leads to through penetration. In addition, the new products have improved ergonomics and ease of handling. Lebedev's pistol is currently being used by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"It's made for both the left and right hand. It is very comfortable. That is, you change hands, and you can remove the magazine with your left hand by pressing the button, and put it on the safety catch," said retired police Lieutenant Colonel and combat veteran Yevgeny Reznikov.
Compared to the Makarov pistol, Lebedev's pistol is lighter and shorter, while it has a 14-round magazine, unlike Makarov's eight. This gives you an advantage for shooting from cover.
Experiments have shown that the introduction of the design features of a sports weapon into a combat pistol helps even an inexperienced shooter to hit the target. At the same time, according to Alan Lushnikov, CEO of Kalashnikov Concern, Russia's international partners are already interested in this product.
"We are now fully loaded with the state defense order, so we need to take certain measures in order to actively promote this product," Lushnikov said.
However, the issue of mass production of PLCs for the Ministry of Defense remains open. Among the problems is the high cost, as well as the presence of small parts that can become clogged with dirt.
Earlier, on August 10, the Kalashnikov Concern presented the latest AK-15K and AK-15SK assault rifles. In addition, a 7.62 mm hand-held machine gun with a ribbon-powered RPL-7 and new samples of the all-season VKPO 3.2 field uniform kit from the Novator kit were presented.
