Artists from 46 Russian cities took part in the fourth season of the Moscow art project Contours of Culture. Hundreds of sketches in various styles have been submitted to the competition, from monumental painting and graphics to calligraphy, said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the capital.

"The winners were 10 people, each of whom had the opportunity to decorate the public spaces of the capital," Sergunina said. It is possible to see the works of the laureates at venues in different districts, she noted.

The winners' works, for example, can be seen at the Shchukino Center for Culture and Arts, the Moskvich Cultural Center and building No. 574 at VDNH. The laureates of the project also decorated the windows of bookstores for the first time. So, in one of them, located on Preobrazhensky Val Street, they created a composition in the style of pop art and graffiti, in the other, on Leninsky Prospekt, a series of collages inspired by Korney Chukovsky's handwritten almanac "Chukokkala".

The Contours of Culture project is organized by the Moscow Production Center. Representatives of 30 countries took part in its events.
