Senator Dzhabarov said that Russia is ahead of the West in military developments
Russia is significantly ahead of the West in the field of military technology, and after successful tests of the Poseidon and Burevestnik missiles, other countries may try to steal Russian military secrets. This was announced on October 31 by Vladimir Dzhabarov, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs.
The senator stressed that Western states are aware of the lag in the development of such high-tech weapons.
"Russia's special services are doing a tremendous job to protect our secrets. But it's not just about them. We all need to be vigilant. The main task is to prevent the theft of military information, including those related to Burevestnik and Poseidon," Jabarov added in his Telegram channel.
According to him, as long as Russia possesses such advanced weapons, it is invincible.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on October 29 that the nuclear reactor installed in the Burevestnik rocket is very fast, it starts within minutes and seconds. He also noted that there are no analogues of the Burevestnik with a nuclear installation in the world. The President instructed to determine which class of weapon the missile belongs to, as well as to prepare the infrastructure for deploying the missile system in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
On October 31, Mikhail Kovalchuk, president of the Kurchatov Institute National Research Center (NRC), said that the Burevestnik cruise missile is a missile that cannot be stopped. He noted that many years of scientific achievements have contributed to the achievements in the creation of the latest weapons technologies.
