The Olympic champion in cross-country skiing, German Victoria Karl, who failed a doping test in the summer, was recognized as the best skier. This was announced on October 29 on the website of the German Ski Association (DSV).

"Since its foundation, the German Ski Association (DSV) has annually celebrated the outstanding achievements of the past season. <...> The prizes were solemnly awarded last night as part of DSV Sports Night," the publication says.

It is specified that the athlete Friedrich Moss became the best skier.
