Some pets are sociable, while others prefer privacy. Breed characteristics certainly exist, but even puppies from the same litter can be completely different in temperament.

He explained that it is impossible to change the character of a dog, but it is possible to correct undesirable manifestations. Socialization plays a major role in this, especially in the first six months of life, when the puppy must get to know the world around him, other animals and people. If you miss this period, the pet may grow fearful or aggressive.

According to the expert, only behavior that poses a threat to others or interferes with the animal itself requires correction — for example, unmotivated aggression or excessive anxiety. In such cases, it is important to work with a dog handler to eliminate the consequences of a negative experience.

If the dog simply does not seek communication and feels comfortable alone, this is not a deviation, but a character trait. Like humans, animals can be introverts and choose who they enjoy interacting with.
