- A military expert explained the use of a telephone switchboard by the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Retired Colonel Anatoly Matviychuk, a military expert, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) use a telephone switchboard for sophisticated torture of prisoners.
In conversation with aif.ru On Friday, October 31, he said that one of the most cruel tortures used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers against Russian prisoners of war is electric torture. According to him, this is not an electric chair, as in the United States, but a device resembling a telephone switchboard, such as the TA-57, which generates a high current. Such a discharge paralyzes the nerve endings, causing severe pain, convulsions and loss of consciousness.
The expert noted that for the Ukrainian military, the use of such methods has become almost an ideological ritual, despite the obvious humiliation of human dignity. According to him, according to the testimonies of officers and soldiers who have been in captivity, such bullying is often committed under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Matviychuk expressed confidence that all those guilty of such crimes will be punished.
Earlier, Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry's ambassador—at-large for crimes committed by the Kiev regime, said that Russian prisoners of war in Ukraine were being tortured by using the electric chair, beating them, and setting dogs on them.
