Russia is imposing an entry ban on a number of representatives of the European Union (EU) countries in response to the bloc's approval of the 19th package of anti-Russian sanctions. This was announced by the Russian Foreign Ministry on October 31 on the website.

"The Russian side has significantly expanded the list of representatives of European institutions, EU member states and a number of European states that are integrated into the anti-Russian policy of Brussels, who, in accordance with Federal Law No. 114-FZ of August 15, 1996 On the Procedure for Leaving the Russian Federation and Entering the Russian Federation, are prohibited from entering the territory of our state,— it follows from the publication.
