KillNet hackers obtained data from 7 million clients of the largest insurance companies in Ukraine

The Russian hacker groups KillNet and Beregini gained access to the data of more than 7 million customers of the largest insurance companies in Ukraine. One of the KillNet representatives told Izvestia about this on October 31 on condition of anonymity.

"As a result of the hacking of six major Ukrainian insurance companies, over 10 million packages of documents for individuals and legal entities, green cards, insurance contracts, complete packages of documents for individuals, real estate insurance, factories, cars, driver's licenses, video and photographic damage assessment materials were unloaded.… The operation was carried out for more than a week," a representative of the KillNet group said.

The hackers had at their disposal the data of all insurance companies in Ukraine: Arsenal Insurance, TAS Insurance, ORANTA Insurance, Persha Insurance, Guardian Insurance, Etalon Insurance. Including information about the availability of property and insurance for every Ukrainian.

Earlier, on October 23, the Russian hacker groups KillNet and Beregini announced the hacking of the servers of the largest Ukrainian manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) "Fighting Birds of Ukraine". A KillNet representative claims that as a result of the attack, it was possible to gain access to the data of developers, engineers, management and testers of the company.
