Widow of rapper Andy Cartwright (Alexandra Yushko) Marina Kohal spoke in court with the last word and stated that all her actions were aimed at protecting herself from "evil." This was reported on October 31 by a correspondent of Izvestia.

"All my actions were aimed at protecting myself from evil. At that moment, I was sure that there was no other way out. But in the end, the grief only got worse. Every day I apologize to everyone who has been affected by my actions, and today I say it officially. <...> I am infinitely sorry that I acted the way I was brought up. Instead of asking for help in time, I tried to cope on my own, out of habit. The lesson has been learned," Kohal said.

On October 29, the state prosecution requested 13 years of imprisonment for the girl to serve her sentence in a general regime penal colony.

Yushko's dismembered body was found at the end of July 2020 in an apartment in St. Petersburg. According to the musician's wife, he died of a drug overdose, and she dismembered the corpse to hide the "inglorious" death of the rapper from fans. At the same time, no traces of prohibited substances were found in the body of the deceased. The investigation also put forward a version that Kohal injected her husband with a lethal dose of the drug on July 24, 2020, which caused death. After that, she dismembered the rapper's corpse, and later got rid of some of the skin and internal organs.

The rapper's wife was arrested and taken into custody. However, in October 2021, she was released under house arrest. On April 29, 2022, the Prosecutor's Office of the Central District of St. Petersburg approved Kohal's indictment and referred the case to the court. Kohal pleaded not guilty.

The rapper's mother-in-law, Elena Kohal, was also involved in the case, but her prosecution was terminated due to the lack of corpus delicti in her actions. In January 2023, Elena Kohal sued more than 500 thousand rubles from the investigation for an unsubstantiated case.
