A meeting on the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip will be held on Monday, November 3, in Istanbul. This was announced by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan at a press conference with his Estonian counterpart on October 31 in Ankara.
He said that the meeting would discuss a peace plan on Gaza, which was previously determined by the leaders of the eight countries.
"In order to determine our next steps on Gas, we, the foreign ministers of the regional countries who previously met with [US President] Donald Trump in New York, will meet in Istanbul on Monday," Fidan said. The broadcast was carried out by Anadolu on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
The Axios portal reported on October 20 that the United States intends to strengthen control over the observance of the ceasefire in the area, which came after the end of the conflict announced on October 13 by President of the United States Donald Trump.
