President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, during a meeting with the head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, on October 31, said that during his visit to Russia on November 12, documents would be signed that would have a positive impact on the course of cooperation between the states.
"We are preparing for a state visit to Moscow on November 12. We believe that this is a milestone event in our relations. Important documents will be signed that will have a serious positive impact on the further course of cooperation," Tokayev said, quoted by the Telegram channel of the President of Kazakhstan.
Tokayev also noted the successful cooperation between Kazakhstan and Tatarstan in the field of mechanical engineering and energy resources, and also congratulated Minnikhanov on his re-election as head of the republic.
Earlier, on October 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the upcoming visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Russia and the situation in the world during a telephone conversation with Tokayev.
