By the end of next year, investors will be offered another 800 cultural heritage sites requiring restoration. This was announced by the head of the implementation of sectoral programs of the department "State programs in the housing sector" DOM.Ekaterina Dobrodeeva of the Russian Federation at the BRICS International Municipal Forum. The event takes place on October 29-31 in St. Petersburg.

Together with the regions, a list of about 800 objects requiring restoration has been identified, which are currently not in use and are planned to be transferred from public ownership to investors by the end of 2026," Dobrodeeva said.

According to her, about 500 of them are municipal facilities. "There is a lot of work to be done on the ground to update the necessary documentation and prepare the facilities for bidding. Dobrodeeva also spoke about the work of the HOUSE.Russian Federation on improving legislation regarding work with WINDOWS, as well as on the development of the heritage.dom platform.It will become a single platform for interaction with investors, representatives of the window protection authorities and other departments.

The panelists also discussed successful examples of synergy between the state and business, when private investments in the revival of cultural heritage sites are accompanied by government support aimed at developing the surrounding infrastructure and landscaping.
