The most expensive vacation in October cost Russians more than 2 million rubles.
A record amount of money was spent by a large company of eight travelers (including one child), who spent 7 days in a five-star hotel with two meals a day in Dubai for 2,142,500 rubles. Travel planning service OneTwoTrip named the most expensive hotel bookings that its customers made in the middle of autumn. The results of the study were reviewed by Izvestia on November 1.
In second place was a 9-day vacation in the Maldives on Nalagureidu Island, where six travelers (including one child) stayed in a five-star hotel with two meals a day. It cost 1,861,800 rubles.
"An impressive sum of 1,620,950 rubles was spent by a family of three (including a child) who spent 11 days on vacation in Belek. For the October holidays, they chose a five—star All-inclusive hotel," the analysts said.
Vacations in Zurich and the Italian resort of Taormina also made it to the top. In Switzerland, one traveler spent seven days in a five-star hotel with two meals a day for 1,345,050 rubles. And in Italy, two Russians spent five days relaxing in a five-star hotel with breakfast, paying 992,250 rubles for it.
Sochi turned out to be the leader of the Russian rating: eight days in a four-star hotel cost a family of four (with one child) 1,454,400 rubles, and this amount included only breakfast.
Next on the list of the most expensive bookings is a nine-day vacation in Moscow, where two travelers chose a five-star hotel with breakfast, which cost 581 350 rubles to stay in.
The holidays in Adler were on the third line: in the southern resort, two people spent three days in a five-star hotel for 330,000 rubles, and this amount included only breakfast
In addition, trips to Esto-Sadok and Gelendzhik were in the top. The holidays in a village in the mountains near Sochi lasted eight days; a family of four (including one child) chose a five-star hotel with breakfast for 306,200 rubles. And in Gelendzhik, OneTwoTrip customers spent 225,000 rubles on a three-day stay in a four-star hotel with breakfast.
Earlier, on August 17, financial consultant Olga Matveeva noted that vacations often become a significant expense item. She recommended calculating expenses after a vacation, prioritizing and planning future major purchases in order to restore the budget faster.
