Manturov confirmed the assembly of Exeed cars in the Moscow region
In Russia, a factory in the Moscow region is assembling cars of the Chinese brand Exeed. This was stated by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov in an interview with RIA Novosti on October 31.
This is the first time that the localization of Exeed production in Russia has been officially announced. The company had not reported this before.
"Offers are gradually appearing in a higher segment: these are, for example, the localization of production of Voyah sequential hybrids in the Lipetsk region, and the assembly of Exeed crossovers in the Moscow region. This has also become possible due to government support measures, including through the re—tuning of the recycling collection mechanism," said Manturov.
It is not specified which Exeed models are produced in Russia, as well as the place of their assembly. Earlier, the media repeatedly drew attention to the certification documents received in the Russian Federation for the brand's model, in which the Exeed assembly site indicated the former Mercedes-Benz plant in the Esipovo Industrial Park in the Moscow region.
Earlier, on October 27, it was reported that the Exeed ET8 full-size hybrid crossover is scheduled to be introduced in Russia in the second half of 2026, the model will be adapted for difficult operating conditions.
