Vasily Osmakov appointed Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation

Former First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Vasily Osmakov has been appointed Deputy Minister of Defense of the country. This was announced on October 31 by the head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Andrei Belousov, during a meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS countries.

"I would like to take this opportunity to introduce Vasily Sergeyevich Osmakov, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, whom many people know from his past work. He was the first Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation," Belousov said.
