- Liksutov spoke about the unique festive program "Matryoshka of Moscow" for National Unity Day
On National Unity Day, the Matryoshka of Moscow will show citizens and guests of the capital an exclusive festive 30-minute multimedia program, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
The capital's 3D design experts have created digital interpretations of the natural and cultural landscapes of various regions of Russia, from the Far East to new territories.
"The Matryoshka of Moscow has become a unique multifunctional facility, the opening of which was announced by Sergei Sobyanin. It combines a tourist center and a platform for the demonstration of digital art. The capital's specialists created a multimedia composition of six subjects for the National Unity Day. Each of them is dedicated to the peculiarities of nature and culture of Russian regions and consists of an average of five scenes with 3D elements. On the evening of November 4, the honeycomb media screens on the kinetic structure will change their position to form various symbols of the regions of Russia. The technologies of the Matryoshka of Moscow were developed by Moscow engineers, and all the main components were manufactured at the capital's factories," said Maxim Liksutov.
The musical accompaniment of the program will be provided by ethnic groups from different parts of Russia — from Yakutia to Kuban, as well as Russian pop stars.
The Moscow tourist center operates inside the Matryoshka of Moscow, where guests of the capital can get advice about the sights of the capital in four languages: Russian, Chinese, Arabic and English.
