The expanded business program of the IV Russian Wine Forum has been published

The IV Russian Wine Forum, the main platform for professional dialogue between participants in the viticulture and winemaking industry, will be held in Moscow from November 12 to 13. The business program of the event includes more than 20 thematic sessions, workshops and discussions.

The forum is organized by the Roscongress Foundation and the Association of the Federal Self-Regulatory Organization of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Russia (FSRO ABVR). The co—organizer is Rosselkhoznadzor, the strategic scientific partner is the Kurchatov Institute National Research Center.

"The forum's program reflects the scale and maturity of the Russian wine industry. Today, the wine industry unites not only the regions of Russia, but also partners from the BRICS countries, research centers, as well as enterprises from the hospitality and tourism industries. The Forum is becoming a platform for shaping the international agenda and, through the theme of wine culture, strengthening cultural and business cooperation through wine," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Forum Organizing Committee.

On the first day of RVF-2025, the BRICS Wine Summit will be held, which will become an international platform for discussing cooperation in the field of enogastronomy and wine tourism. The moderator will be Boris Titov, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Relations with International Organizations for achieving Sustainable Development Goals. The focus is on strengthening cooperation between BRICS winemakers and holding the first tasting competition of the countries of the association.

On the same day, a scientific session "The Future of wine through the eyes of scientists" will be held, organized with the participation of the Kurchatov Institute Research Center. Experts will discuss new approaches in organic viticulture, breeding research and the introduction of innovations in wine-making equipment.

The panel discussion "Online trading of Russian wine. Myth or the near future?", organized with the support of the Center for Biometric Technologies. The participants will discuss the prospects of digitalization of the industry and the implementation of solutions that simplify consumer access to the products of Russian winemakers.

Special attention will be paid to the strategic session "Issues of winemakers and government responses", where support measures, regulatory mechanisms, the results of a large-scale inventory of Russian vineyards and the development of the export potential of Russian wine will be discussed.

On the second day of the forum, the plenary session "Wine of Russia. The first five-year plan", which will summarize the development of the industry and outline key benchmarks for the future. The moderator will be Dmitry Kiselyov, a member of the Board of the AVVR. Among the invited speakers are Dmitry Patrushev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Kovalchuk, President of the Kurchatov Institute, Boris Listov, Chairman of the Board of the Rosselkhoznadzor, Mikhail Razvozhaev, Governor of Sevastopol, Alexander Oslon, President of the Public Opinion Foundation, and Zhanna Belovol, Chairman of the Board of the AVVR.

The second day will also feature master classes on tasting and working with Russian wine, lectures by sommeliers and wine critics, as well as meetings with the country's leading winemakers.

Among the industry events is the presentation of the Rosselkhoznadzor's Own Wine project, a panel on the topic of training sommeliers and cavists "Wine of Russia: learn, love, promote", discussions on the development of the premium segment and enotourism, as well as a new format of the Forum – an evening of personal stories of winemakers of different generations on the topic "Why did I become a winemaker?", where producers will share personal stories and the philosophy of their business.

A special place in the program will be the presentation of the Prince Lev Golitsyn Award "For contribution to Russian winemaking" and the awarding of the winners of the ABVR Cup 2025.

The Forum will continue the tradition of bringing together representatives of the industry, regions and research centers, as well as strengthening international relations through wine culture and joint initiatives.
