Law enforcement agencies in Kazakhstan and Mexico consider 32-year-old Russian Sergey Chernykh to be the likely owner of the 1Win online casino. In these countries, he is involved in criminal cases and is suspected, among other things, of organizing illegal gambling activities.

Izvestia, based on information from its sources and open data, also confirmed the possible involvement of Sergei Chernykh in the activities of this gambling platform. In particular, based on the results of the investigation of the publication, he may be the author of the Telegram channel "Owner 1win".

According to an interlocutor of Izvestia who is familiar with Chernykh's biography and business, in 2011 the young man moved to St. Petersburg to study at the university with a degree in management. In his second year, he dropped out of university and built his own network of entertainment publications on social networks. Then the BBet project appeared, and then 1Win.

A source of Izvestia in the market assures that 1Win's revenues may be approaching $1 billion per year.

According to Russian law enforcement agencies, Sergei Chernykh was twice involved in criminal incidents in Russia. In 2016, driving a Ferrari California, he caused an accident and lost his license for a year. And in 2019, in St. Petersburg, he started a fight with a passerby who was outraged that his Rolls-Royce Phantom was parked on the sidewalk.
