Liksutov announced the extension of the Novospassky — ZIL river route
Next year, the third route of the capital's regular river electric transport "Novospassky — ZIL" will be extended to the Krasnye Kholmy pier. This was stated by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
"On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, we continue to develop regular river traffic in the capital. Next year, the third Novospassky — ZIL route will include seven stops: we will extend it to the Krasnye Kholmy pier. Now a new floating berth is being transported to Moscow from a shipyard in Perm," Liksutov said.
The diameter of the berth will be 10 m, it will be located on the Kosmodamianskaya embankment and will be able to accommodate up to 40 passengers.
After the extension, the total length of the route will exceed 7 km. Now its length is 5.4 km. The route was launched by the Mayor of Moscow in June 2025. It includes six stops — Novospassky, Derbenevskaya Embankment, Torpedo, Simonovsky, Avtozavodsky Bridge and ZIL. The last berth is the final stop for both the third and second routes. Thanks to this, passengers have the opportunity to make quick transfers and save travel time.
Route No. 3 connected four districts of the city — Danilovsky, Tagansky, Yuzhnoportovy and Zamoskvorechye. Passengers made more than 105 thousand trips on electric vessels of this route.
In total, three regular river electric transport routes operate in Moscow — Kievsky — Fili Park, ZIL—Pechatniki, and Novospassky — ZIL, with 29 electric vessels.
