All attempts to defeat Russia by military force have failed thanks to the brotherhood of nations. This was announced on October 31 by Secretary of the Russian Security Council Sergei Shoigu during the opening of the International Festival "Peoples of Russia and the CIS".

"All attempts to defeat us by military force failed because the brotherhood of our peoples stood behind the army. The spiritual core of our societies is made up of the same moral guidelines that were laid down by our ancestors over the centuries. These are respect for historical heritage, commitment to truth and justice, mercy, love, and a strong family. And, of course, this is dedication to the Motherland," Shoigu said.

He noted that representatives of about two hundred nationalities have been living in peace, harmony and unity in Russia for centuries. Today, our unity is clearly confirmed by the Special Military Operation (SVO). All the peoples of Russia joined the monolithic structure of its participants.

"Today, globalists are obsessively pushing through the cult of consumption, absolute individualism, cynicism and cruelty. Instead of striving for development, harmony and perfection, a person infected with these ideas becomes a soulless consumer," stressed the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.

According to him, after the collapse of the USSR, its former citizens were subjected to precisely such value aggression aimed at destroying Soviet civilization. The common traditions, unique customs, friendship and good neighborliness that united the citizens of the Soviet Union are still under threat, Shoigu added.

"Today we live in an era of acute value conflict. In fact, ideological wars. Their weapons are manipulation of consciousness, undermining moral guidelines, and the imposition of ideas alien to a healthy society and destructive to the individual," the Secretary of the Russian Security Council said.

Sergei Shoigu summarized that Russia is an example of a correct interethnic policy, unlike Western colonial empires built on oppression.

Earlier, on October 29, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that after the collapse of the USSR, many states appeared, but their peoples continue to maintain ties with each other. Peskov stressed that Russia is interested in preserving this community in the Eurasian space.
