The main fear of working Russians was emotional burnout, which was mentioned by 42% of respondents in a recruitment service study. hh.ru . Delays or salary reductions are in second place (35%), and excessive workload with previous pay is in third place. This was announced on October 31, after reviewing the results of the study, "Газета.Ru ".

It is reported that in the second position of the anxiety rating there were problems with wages — delays, non-payment or reduction of wages, which concern 35% of respondents. The third place was taken by excessive workload with constant payment.

Among other significant concerns, employees identified conflict situations in the team (30%) and lack of career prospects (27%). Less often, the respondents noted the fear of not coping with professional duties and loss of interest in the specialty (18% each), deterioration of well-being due to overwork (16%), the inability to psychologically distance themselves from work and sudden dismissal (14% each).

"Women are more likely than men to worry about burnout, conflicts in the team and fear of not being able to cope with tasks, while men are more concerned about financial risks and lack of career growth," the publication noted.

According to the survey, the age group of 25-34 years turned out to be the most alarming, where fears related to professional exhaustion, overloads and lack of career prospects are most pronounced. After 35 years of age, anxiety levels gradually decrease.

The structure of fears also depends on the field of activity. Burnout is most often talked about in medicine, HR and among managers, financial concerns prevail among tourism and construction workers, and overloads are more worrying for logisticians and lawyers.

"Specialists are afraid to make a mistake with serious consequences for the company (36%), spend their lives working to their detriment (33%) and fail to complete tasks (27%)," the publication says.

More than 2,000 working Russians took part in the survey.

Earlier, on October 30, family psychologist Yulia Yudanova spoke about a way to deal with stress. The expert said that animal therapy — zootherapy — has a positive effect on a person's emotional and physical condition.
