The first meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit will be held in a closed format, journalists will not be present. This was announced by the administration of South Korean President Lee Jae-myung on Friday, October 31.

"The meeting will be held informally so that the leaders can exchange views in a frank and free atmosphere," RIA Novosti quoted the statement as saying.
