The crew of the T-72B3M tank of the 506th Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Poznań Center group of forces destroyed an ammunition depot and a firing point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the outskirts of Krasnoarmeysk in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was reported on October 31 in the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the agency, the fire was conducted from a closed position from a distance of more than six kilometers. Guidance and adjustments were carried out in real time using drones, which improved the accuracy of hits and reduced ammunition consumption. As a result of the strike, the detonation of the Ukrainian cache occurred, shelters were destroyed and enemy manpower was hit.

Lieutenant, tank platoon commander Mikhail Krasnoshlyk said that the crew acted quickly and smoothly, promptly receiving intelligence data and an order to hit the target.

"The team arrived, reacted quickly, loaded ammunition, disguised themselves. We shot the first one, adjusted the second one, and hit the target with the third one. They say it burned until nightfall," the officer said.

He noted that the tankers use the method of semi-direct guidance with constant correction from the air, which increases the efficiency and safety of combat work.

Earlier, on October 25, it was reported that the crew of the T-72B3M tank of the 33rd motorized rifle regiment of the Yuzhnaya group of forces destroyed an armored personnel carrier and a temporary deployment point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Red Army area. Back then, the tankers also used the tactic of quickly changing positions after a series of accurate shots.
