The most affordable prices for accommodation in four-star hotels during the New Year holidays are offered by the Russian regions. Petrozavodsk became the leader of the rating, where a day in a hotel will cost an average of 3,450 rubles. Novosibirsk took the second place with a price of 3,590 rubles per day, where guests can enjoy city events and ski resorts in the surrounding area. Rostov—on-Don is in third place (3,830 rubles), suitable for those who want to celebrate the New Year without snow and visit the coast of the Sea of Azov.

It is stated that the list of popular inexpensive destinations includes Krasnodar (4620 rubles), Mineralnye Vody (4630 rubles) and St. Petersburg (4860 rubles). Irkutsk closes the rating with a price of 5940 rubles.

Vietnam has become the most economical option among foreign destinations — a room here costs from 1,290 rubles in Nha Trang. "Vietnam is traditionally a leader in terms of price and comfort, and in January there are ideal conditions for a beach holiday," the expert explained.

Cambodia (1,800 rubles) and Indonesia (1,830 rubles) also entered the top five. Azerbaijan is allocated from neighboring countries (2,150 rubles). Among the specific resorts, Cairo hotels have taken high positions (1,670 rubles), where the weather is favorable for excursions in January.
