The last working week of 2025 in Russia will consist of only two days — December 29 and 30. This was announced on October 31 by Yaroslav Nilov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs.

"And so it turns out that the last week of December will consist of only two working days: Monday and Tuesday— respectively, on December 29 and 30," Nilov told TASS.

According to him, December 31 will be the New Year's Eve weekend, and the New Year 2026 will come on January 1, Thursday, after a short December working week.
