Maxim Galkin's brother (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) Dmitry Galkin appealed to the Moscow court with a claim for the protection of honor, dignity and business reputation to Digital News LLC (Life.ru ). This was reported on October 30 in the Telegram channel of the capital's courts of general jurisdiction.

The reason for the trial was an October 6 publication titled "The Galkins' Thinning Wallet: What's Happening to Brother Maxim's Defense Business." The statement of claim notes that the information contained in the material, in the plaintiff's opinion, does not correspond to reality and discredits his business reputation.

The court is currently taking measures to prepare the case for the hearing. The plaintiff's claims relate to the refutation of disseminated information and compensation for moral damage.

On October 2, it was reported that Rospatent may terminate the legal protection of the Maxim Galkin trademark. If the protection status is lifted, the comedian may lose the exclusive rights to his own name. This includes the possibility of registration of the relevant rights by a third party.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
