- The readiness of the bridge over the Klyazma River in Khimki near Moscow has reached 90%
Construction of a bridge across the Klyazma River is nearing completion in Khimki (Moscow region). The ferry's readiness has reached 90%, according to the Gorokrug administration.
The builders have already completed the asphalting of the roadway and will soon begin dismantling the temporary bridge. They will also have to install railing and barrier fencing, and carry out landscaping of the surrounding area.
The ferry is being built near the residential complex "City of Embankments". It is assumed that the new bridge will improve the transport accessibility of residents of Old Khimki.
The length of the crossing is 40 m, the width is 4 m, writes the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya. It is planned to complete the construction and commission the facility by the end of 2025.
Earlier it was reported that the repair of the Klyazma Bridge in Khimki, which essentially implies the construction of a new ferry, is carried out as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life." The main structure was completely dismantled, and a temporary bridge was built nearby.
