The creative workshop of artist Nikita Makarov hosted a kvartirnik organized by the Roscongress Foundation and the Moskvichki project, which brought together friends, experts and connoisseurs on the eve of the main industry event of the year – the IV Russian Wine Forum, which will be held in 2025.

"This evening is part of a big movement: more and more people are discovering Russian wine not as an alternative, but as a value in itself. And very soon, at the IV Russian Wine Forum, we will discuss how this movement is becoming more widespread — from the vineyard to the glass, from production to consumer culture," said Andrey Reut, First Deputy Director of the Roscongress Foundation, opening the evening.

The guests were treated to exclusive Divnomorskoye Manor wines, the same ones that have been served at top—level state receptions for many years. For 15 years, the winery has created not just a product, but a real cultural heritage, and this evening the guests were able to appreciate rare samples from its cellars.

"We highly appreciate our cooperation with the Roscongress Foundation, and it is already becoming a good tradition to meet at joint informal evening events. It is this format of meetings that helps to bring, at first glance, complex industrial topics into the lifestyle plane. This time, we were pleased to gather our friends and partners in a chamber setting in an absolutely unique place — the studio of artist Nikita Makarov. There is a wine—making forum ahead, and on the eve of this event we have organized a wine apartment dedicated to the best Russian wine," said Maria Morgunova, head of the Moscow Wine Club.

"Today, Russian winemaking receives significant support at all levels, but the culture of individual consumption is formed precisely at individual events — in personal contact and a special atmosphere. Tonight, with the support of Roscongress and Moskvichka magazine, we have once again managed to create such an atmosphere in the unique space of Nikita Makarov's workshop. For the Manor Divnomorskoe brand, 2025 is an anniversary year. The emotions and impressions of the wines today have once again confirmed that the project team creates not just terroir wines, but forms the cultural wine heritage of our country," said Anton Alimov, Commercial Director of the Krinitsa Winery and the Divnomorskoye Estate.

This evening was a reminder: Russian wine is no longer about the "alternative", but about its own value, style and culture.

The conversation at the IV Russian Wine Forum will take place from November 12 to 13 in Moscow.
