The staff of the Military commissariat made an organizational mistake in Odessa. This opinion was expressed by political scientist Alexander Semchenko in an interview with Izvestia.

"The Seventh Kilometer market is considered the largest in Ukraine, there are many physically strong people working there, a lot of movers. Plus, merchants communicate well with each other and know each other. The security forces tried to break this close—knit group through their knees, but they did not calculate their strength," he explains.

The expert adds that in general, people in Ukraine are trying to resist mobilization, but all this is of a focal nature, there is no centralized opposition.

Earlier on October 30, a fight took place in Odessa between employees of the Seventh Kilometer market and military commissars. During the conflict, civilians beat the security forces, and then overturned their minibus.

On October 24, People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Yuriy Kamelchuk stated that 99% of cases of beating people by employees of the shopping mall are hushed up. According to him, the phones of the mobilized are being taken away, and videos showing cases of beatings are being deleted.
