The expert warned about the appearance of fake tires from China

Fake Chinese-made tires began to appear on the Russian market. This was told by tire expert Anastasia Tishina, reports Quto on October 30.

As an example, she cited the announcement of the sale of a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires in the 275/35 ZR22 size for 100 thousand rubles, including a 50% discount. For this model, this price is considered very attractive. However, as the expert noted, this copy differs from the original Michelin in the tread pattern, markings and fonts. In addition, the date of manufacture is printed on top of the erased inscription, and the country of origin (Made in France) is deliberately large.

Such poorly executed Chinese fakes are usually found in the segment of expensive tires with a low profile and a large landing diameter, Tishina pointed out. She warned that it is economically feasible for a Chinese fraudster to forge tires with a landing diameter of at least 18 inches, so the buyer of such tires should be careful.

Earlier, on October 9, the Ministry of Transport reminded that it is worth changing summer car tires to winter tires when the average daily air temperature reaches +5...+7 degrees, and there are also constant frosts. In the Urals, it is usually time to "re—shoe" a car in October, and in Central Russia - closer to November.

On September 4, analysts reported that winter and summer tires of the non-premium price segment for passenger cars rose in price by more than 3% over the year.
