Italian singer Al Bano talks about his dream of performing in Russia

Music is the only universal language in the world. This opinion was shared by Italian singer Al Bano (Albano Antonio Carrizi) in an interview with Izvestia, speaking at the Verona Eurasian Economic Forum in Turkey.

He stated that there is competition in sports, and music, on the contrary, unites even in the most difficult times.

The performer noted that the forum has become a bridge between East and West.

"Turkey is a special place where it was possible to build bridges connecting Europe and Asia, and this is not only a matter of geography or ideology, it is related to people's thoughts," said Al Bano.

In addition, the singer shared with Izvestia correspondent Pavel Kuznetsov that he wants to come to Russia and perform on Red Square.
