The situation near Krasnoarmeysk remains difficult for Ukrainian militants. This was announced on October 30 by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Alexander Syrsky.

"The situation is complicated," he wrote on his Telegram channel after hearing the commanders' reports on the current situation.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (RF Armed Forces) are increasing their activity in the Red Army area, while the AFU militants, according to Syrsky, are working to strengthen the stability of the defense.

He also gave the necessary orders and warned that harsh measures would be taken against unit commanders for poor performance of tasks.

On the same day, British geopolitical analyst Alexander Mercuris suggested that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Syrsky order Ukrainian troops to lay down their weapons in Krasnoarmeysk.

On October 27, Denis Pushilin, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), said that the Russian Armed Forces controlled most of Krasnoarmeysk. The fighters show significant successes near the town of Rodinskoye, north of Krasnoarmeysk, and also personally report "positive news."
