In Crimea, the work of Telegram and WhatsApp messengers has been partially restricted (Meta activity is banned in Russia as extremist). This was announced on October 30 in the press service of the largest regional telecom operator Volna.

"The work of Telegram and WhatsApp in Crimea is partially limited. Roskomnadzor is taking measures to block these applications, this applies to subscribers of all operators and providers in Russia," RIA Novosti reports.
