The center of Ussuriysk will be transformed into a land of Russian fairy tales
The authorities of Ussuriysk decided to turn the central square into a land of Russian fairy tales for the New Year holidays. The main character will be a scarlet knight-hero.
As it became known to the UssurMedia news agency after the meeting of the investment committee in the city administration, the innovations will also affect the configuration of the traditional ice rink.
The new concept of the winter town involves the transformation of the central square into a land of Russian fairy tales with heroic amusements and traditional charms. The main amulet will be the main Christmas tree of Ussuriysk. This year, she will be placed not in the center of the rink, but a little further away.
The ice rink will be made in the form of a matryoshka doll. A small circle for children to ride with a recreation area in the center will become the doll's head, while the main part will be a larger circle for adults to ride.
Ice slides for adults will be placed along the fountains, and a decorated Birch Promenade walking area will appear between them. Swings of various configurations, safe slides, a maze, and food courts are equipped for children. Master classes will be held in a special gazebo.
Art objects and photo zones decorated with ornaments and silhouettes of folk themes promise to become a special decoration of the New Year's town.
The winter town will open on December 27. Guests of the festival will be able to take part in the dance flash mob "I come from a place where they dance".
Earlier, the State Duma spoke about the assistance provided to Russians for the New Year. State Duma deputy, member of the Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Svetlana Bessarab said that by the New Year, if there are any support measures, they will be targeted — employers or municipalities will be able to provide them. According to her, the gifts are likely to be prepared for honored and honorary citizens, as well as veterans, who are traditionally cared for by veterans' councils, trade unions and enterprises. She added that the authorities also collect New Year's gifts for children, especially from low-income families.
