Garbuzov appreciated the role of business centers in creating employment opportunities

Office real estate and business centers occupy a leading position among the projects of the incentive program for job creation in Moscow. This was announced at a press conference by Anatoly Garbuzov, head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department.

As part of the program to stimulate the creation of jobs, the business infrastructure occupies a key place, Garbuzov stressed. He noted that the share of such facilities is 41% of the total volume of agreed construction. "The total area of these projects will amount to 3.22 million square meters. To ensure their implementation, about 1.2 trillion rubles of investments were attracted to the city budget," Garbuzov added.

Five buildings are in operation, and 82 more facilities are at various stages of construction, the head of the department noted. For example, among the implemented projects is the Botany business center on Wilhelm Peak Street, the construction of which was supported by the capital in 2020. More than 4 thousand jobs have been created here, over a thousand of which have appeared thanks to the support of the city. Another example is the Ostankino Business Park in the northeast of Moscow, which has become one of the largest business clusters in the capital with a total area of more than 135 thousand square meters.

The incentive program for job creation has been implemented in Moscow since 2020. Investors will build more than 250 facilities with a total area of 7.8 million square meters. m. Among them are new industrial enterprises, office and shopping centers, educational, cultural and sports institutions. In total, over 2.7 trillion rubles will be invested in the development of the city and the creation of places of employment. This will create more than 340 thousand new jobs.
