On October 30, a military expert, retired Colonel Anatoly Matviychuk, told Izvestia what the implementation of such statements could lead to.

The expert noted that only countries that develop nuclear weapons incognito are engaged in testing nuclear weapons. Nuclear clubs in the form of China, Russia, India, and Pakistan do not engage in such events.

"I believe this is Trump's nervous reaction to our statements about the Burevestnik and Poseidon. The fact is that testing nuclear charges is prohibited by treaties between the Soviet Union and the United States, and between Russia and the United States. If they only cross this line, we will also start testing," the military expert said.
