- Sobyanin spoke about the participation of Muscovites in the city's electronic projects
The Russian capital is a world leader in the digital involvement of residents in the life of the metropolis, with more than 9 million people participating in the city's electronic projects. This was announced by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, noting that the city has created a unique digital ecosystem that allows Muscovites to "monitor the implementation of projects and offer their ideas."
In his channel on the IACH, the mayor said that among the most popular services are the portal "Our City", the projects "City of Ideas", "Active Citizen", "Active Citizen for children", "City of tasks", the city loyalty program "Million Prizes" and the "Choose Together" campaign. The Our City project has helped solve about 12 million issues, where "Muscovites report a variety of problems, from asphalt damage in the courtyard to damage to the subway infrastructure, and they are usually resolved in a few days," Sobyanin said.
The City of Ideas platform allows Muscovites to take initiatives in areas such as transport development, landscaping, social services, and entrepreneurship. The Active Citizen portal gives residents the opportunity to choose the names of streets and stations, courtyards and parks for landscaping, events for festivals, etc. "According to the results of voting, over 4.2 thousand decisions were implemented. Today, there are more than 7 million 200 thousand citizens on the portal," the mayor stressed, adding that other megacities of the world attract no more than a million people to such projects.
Earlier in October, Moscow summed up the results of the seventh Leaders of Digital Transformation hackathon, Russia's largest competition for developers of digital solutions for government agencies and businesses.
This year's hackathon set a new record: more than 11,000 people took part in it. Applications were received from 89 regions of Russia and 26 foreign countries. The participants had to solve 20 technological problems proposed by Moscow government departments and large companies. Artificial intelligence, big data and machine learning became the main directions.
