A new record for sales of used electric vehicles in 2025 has been set in Russia.

Last September in Russia was the best in terms of sales of used electric vehicles in 2025. This was reported on October 30 by the analytical agency Autostat. In early autumn, Russians purchased 1,629 of these used cars, which is 16% more than in August and 50% more than in September last year.

Almost 34% of used electric car sales in September came from the Nissan brand (547 units). Next are Zeekr (276 units), Tesla (192 units), Moskvich (96 units) and Volkswagen (89 units). In the model rating, the top three were formed by Nissan Leaf, Zeekr 001 and Moskvich 3e.

Analysts noted that the largest number of electric vehicles of Japanese origin were purchased in the secondary market — almost one in three (35.8%). This was followed by Chinese (28.6%) and American (12.3%), German (11.6%) and Russian (9.5%).

In just 9 months of 2025, 9843 used electric cars were purchased in the Russian Federation, which is 18% more than in January —September last year.

Earlier, on October 27, it was reported that the company in the Lipetsk region completed the production of the electric sedan Evolve i-Pro. Representatives of Evolve said that the model has completely exhausted its life cycle.
