On October 29, the Chelyabinsk Regional Court dismissed the appeal filed by the defendants against the decision to seize state ownership of shares and assets of PJSC Yuzhuralzoloto Group of Companies (YUGK) and ten other organizations associated with Konstantin Strukov.

"The court's decision has been left unchanged, and the appeal has been dismissed," the law enforcement agencies told TASS.

It is noted that the case was heard behind closed doors, and the parties declined to comment during the hearing.

On October 24, the Prosecutor General's Office filed a new lawsuit against Strukov and his daughters in the Plast City Court of the Chelyabinsk region. It was noted that the SOE is asking to convert into state income property with a total value of 1.4 billion rubles, as well as 3.5 billion rubles of cash. According to the investigation, they were obtained through corruption.

On July 5, it became known that the businessman was banned from flying from Chelyabinsk. According to the Izvestia source, Strukov tried to leave the city on a private jet, which had previously been arrested by court order. The Federal Air Transport Agency did not give permission for the aircraft to take off.
