Sports commentator and TV presenter Dmitry Guberniev said on October 29 that the 2026 Olympic Games should be shown in Russia.

"I think the upcoming Olympics should definitely be shown in Russia. The World and European Football Championships were shown without our own, but our guys will be playing in Italy. Besides, it will be useful for those guys who will return to the world stage one day," the Sport24 portal quoted him as saying.
