The United States suggested Russia's condition for ending the conflict in Ukraine

Mark Episkopos, an international security expert, suggested on October 29 that Russia might not agree to an immediate ceasefire during the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.

He noted that despite this, Russia is ready to end the conflict.

"Readiness for a final peace agreement, which US President Donald Trump discussed with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Alaska, and agreement on an unconditional cease—fire are two completely different things," the expert wrote on the social network X.
