A businessman from Saratov denied his intention to sue Morgenstern.
Saratov businessman Gleb Ryskov said that he was not going to file a lawsuit against musician Alisher Morgenstern (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation). He told Izvestia about this on October 29.
According to the businessman, he did not immediately understand who owned the land near the Malaya Istra River, as the owner's information was hidden in the Federal Register. Later, Ryskov found out that Morgenstern was the owner.
"Who could have known? He himself (Morgenstern — Ed.) — friends later sent me a video — boasted of this territory, that he had a large territory there, his own tennis court, his own sauna," the entrepreneur shared.
Ryskov noted that media reports about the purchase of a plot for 160 million rubles are incorrect — according to him, the property was purchased with a mortgage. He also stressed that the coastal strip cannot be privately owned, as it is a "national treasure."
Earlier, on October 28, the businessman told Izvestia that he had sent a statement to the Ministry of Ecology of the Moscow region after he discovered that the Morgenstern bathhouse was located in the coastal zone of the Malaya Istra River. Ryskov stressed that the coastal strips should remain open and accessible to all citizens.
