Elon Musk's father admired the urban planning of Moscow and Kazan
The father of American entrepreneur Elon Musk, Errol Musk, said that he was struck by the urban structure of Russian cities during a trip around the country. He stated this on October 29, speaking at the Moscow office of the IT company Ivideon.
According to Musk Sr., Moscow and Kazan made a particularly strong impression on him.
"For me, as an engineer by profession and education ... (it's amazing) that the streets in Moscow and, of course, in Kazan are so wide and with such good street lighting. It's boring for most people, but for me, as an engineer, it's very interesting to follow the idea behind it," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
In addition, Musk added that he was impressed by Suzdal. He also noted that in South Africa and in the West, the state of infrastructure is often disappointing.
Earlier, on October 25, Errol Musk attended the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) regular season match between Ak Bars Kazan and Admiral Vladivostok, which took place at the Tatneft Arena in Kazan. He was noticed among the fans and, according to the club, supported the owners of the site.
