Rosneft holds the "Best by Profession" competition

The XX anniversary Review competition "The Best by profession" among representatives of workers and engineering specialties of Rosneft subsidiaries took place in Ufa. More than 550 participants from 82 enterprises competed in the finals for the title of the best, the press service of the oil company said.

In the theoretical part of the competition, participants had to answer 45 questions on their profession and 15 on industrial safety, labor protection and the environment.

The practical part of the program took place at Bashneft's production sites. The contestants demonstrated their professional skills by completing time tasks. For example, chemical analysis laboratory technicians tested a standard sample of the mass fraction of organochlorine compounds in a naphtha simulator. The oil and gas production operators started the installation of an electric centrifugal pump. The instrument makers of control and measuring devices and automation checked, adjusted and put into operation the pressure transmitter. The operators of the technological installations took over the watch, assembled the technological scheme, prepared and started the pumps. The drivers carried out operations to pour petroleum products into vehicles, deliver them and drain them at the gas station.

According to the results of the competitions, the winners were determined in such areas as "Oil and Gas production" (13 nominations), "Oil Refining and Petrochemistry" (9 nominations), "Oil product supply" (7 nominations).

The contestants were evaluated by a jury consisting of 150 representatives of the management of Rosneft's specialized divisions and subsidiaries.

The "Best by Profession" competition is part of the company's employee motivation, corporate training, and professional development program. It helps to increase the prestige of working professions, production culture and the level of industrial safety.
