The construction readiness of a new school in Irkutsk has exceeded 90%

In Irkutsk, the readiness of a new school on Yaroslavsky Street has reached 92%. The city administration reports about this in its Telegram channel.

As of October 29, the contractor is already completing the finishing work and installation of engineering systems. The work on the surrounding area is also coming to an end. About 180 people and 10 pieces of equipment are involved on the site every day.

According to IrkutskMedia news agency, the new school on Yaroslavsky Street is designed for 1,550 places. In addition to classrooms, the building has an auditorium and choreographic halls, a 25-meter swimming pool and a modern gym, a food hall and a dining room with 775 seats. Furniture is still being assembled and arranged around the premises.

"An integrated approach to the development of the territory has been applied in this area. The largest general education facility in the region has been built on the site of the wasteland, new apartment buildings are being built nearby, where we will resettle citizens from emergency housing," commented Mayor Ruslan Bolotov.

In addition, road works were carried out on Yaroslavsky Street. Workers have put the roadway from 18 Sovetsky Lane to 11 Sovetsky Lane in order, equipped sidewalks and provided parking spaces. Heating networks are being laid.
