The star of the TV series "Policeman from Rublevka" actor Roman Popov died from complications after chemotherapy. This was reported on October 29 in the artist's Telegram channel.

"Roman Popov died yesterday in a hospital near Moscow from complications after chemotherapy," the statement said.

It is noted that the farewell to the actor will take place on Saturday, November 1, in the funeral hall at the Central Clinical Hospital (CCB) with the polyclinic of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation in Moscow.

A source from Izvestia reported Popov's death on October 28. The actor died at the age of 40 from a recurrence of brain cancer. Hovhannes Grigoryan, a friend of the actor and a resident of the Comedy Club, said that the actor's recurrence of brain cancer was developing very quickly.

Alexander Petrov, a colleague of the actor on the TV series "Policeman from Rublevka," called Popov a brave and talented man who became an example for many.
