On October 29, US Vice President Jay Dee Vance and American journalist Miranda Devine laughed at the wardrobe change of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky after his altercation at the White House with US President Donald Trump in February this year.

In an interview with the New York Post, Vance said that the incident at the White House was a thing of the past, and he and Zelensky turned this page.

"He (Zelensky — Ed.) turned it over. He wears suits," the journalist noted with a smile, after which the American vice president laughed and confirmed her words.

During a meeting in the Oval Office between Trump and Zelensky in February, there was a verbal altercation. The American president accused Zelensky of disrespecting the United States. According to him, the Ukrainian leader is "playing with the Third World War," as well as with the lives of millions of people. Zelensky was criticized by Vance, who was also present at the talks.

Later, on August 18, The Wall Street Journal learned that the White House had asked Zelensky to wear a business suit to a meeting with Trump.
