The best cars of 2025 are named

A solemn ceremony of awarding the Golden Klaxon Award statuettes took place in Moscow. The winners in 16 nominations were determined by a vote of the newspaper's readers on the award's website, Izvestia correspondents reported on October 29.

The Belarusian crossover Belgee X50 won in the nomination "Compact Car of the Year". The Lada Vesta sedan of the year, the Aito Seres M7 crossover, the Tenet T8 SUV, and the Exeed Exlantix ET hybrid.

The Avatr 11 was the best among electric vehicles, while the JAC T9 and Voyah Dream were the best among pickups and minivans, respectively. The Omoda C7 crossover received the Automotive Design of the Year award.

This year, more than 150 car models presented on the Russian market in 2025 were included in the voting lists.

Test drive of the seven-seat Tenet T8 crossover

Earlier that day, it was reported that the Tenet T7 crossover, which is manufactured at the Kaluga plant AGR Holding, became available with an all-wheel drive system. Previously, the Tenet T7 was offered only in two single-wheel drive configurations.
