Work on the right side of the bridge near the Omsk television center will be completed in November.

In Omsk, in November, they plan to complete repair work on the right side of the 60th Anniversary of the Komsomol bridge. This was announced by Mayor Sergei Shelest in his Telegram channel.

"At this stage, all four new expansion joints have been installed on the repaired part of the structure. Two of them are concreted, two more are undergoing the process of reinforcement and joining metal structures to the bridge," the mayor said.

As of October 29, the facility is 30% ready. In November, the contractor will complete the work on the right side and move to the left.

According to OmskMedia news agency, initially the right side of the bridge was planned to open in April 2025. In the summer, the schedule was shifted first to August, then to the end of November. The reason for the latest extension was the identification of additional defects, which led to a review of the scope of work.

The bridge near the television center in Omsk is one of the key urban transport facilities. As part of the overhaul, which started in November 2024, it is planned to replace waterproofing, roadway, fences and supporting elements. The work is carried out without completely blocking traffic.

It is planned to complete the overhaul of the ferry in 2026.
